We are delighted to let you know that Olympia Arab Festival is happening once again this year! Shuruq III will be Saturday, October 8, at The Olympia Center, in downtown Olympia. Mark your calendar now! At a time in our country when it feels increasingly important to celebrate the variety of cultures that make our communities so rich, we are eager to again bring glimpses of the history, music, art, dance, food, and traditions of the world's twenty-two Arab countries to Olympia.

We need your help! As a cosponsor you can be a part of creating a memorable celebration of Arab culture that will fill The Olympia Center with performers, vendors, Arab-Americans from our local area and across the state, and so many others from our community and beyond who come to be part of the sharing and festivities. Your support will provide for the staffing and organization, the promotion, and the realization of this joyful gathering in downtown Olympia. Can you help us? For this year's festival to be accessible to all and to have the greatest impact, there will be no admission fee. Expenses for venue, performers, promotion, and staff support are significant. We must have financial help from individual, business, and organization cosponsors to make this possible, and time is short. We simply can't make this happen without help from our community businesses and organizations.

Our Olympia Arab Festival in 2014 was wildly successful with over a thousand attendees from across the region sharing food, music, dance, speakers, crafts, and fun. Cosponsors will be listed on the event page at the Rachel Corrie Foundation (RCF) website, will be acknowledged at the event, and will be listed in the print program unless otherwise specified. Cosponsors may submit business or organizational logos for inclusion in all event promotional materials to the extent possible, depending on when the Cosponsorship is received. Deadline to guarantee your contribution perk and to be include in all our promotional and publicity materials is August 15, 2016.
