Join the Rachel Corrie Foundation for Peace and Justice on Friday, March 16th for our annual community potluck to honor Rachel Corrie and celebrate fifteen years of Palestinian solidarity and community organizing! This event will take place at The Olympia Center in downtown Olympia from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Celebrate with us as RCF continues to carry on Rachel's vision, spirit, and creative energy through education, action, and community building!

EDUCATION: This year we will hear from Huwaida Arraf, Palestinian American human rights activist, lawyer, and cofounder of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) and Cindy and Craig Corrie, founders of the Rachel Corrie Foundation and parents of Rachel.

ACTION: We will highlight H.R 4391, Promoting Human Rights by Ending Israeli Military Detention of Palestinian Children Act, introduced by Democratic Congresswoman Betty McCollum (D-MN) as the first piece of pro-Palestinian legislation in Congress. We will provide copies of the bill and more information about how to contact your representative to support this bill.

COMMUNITY BUILDING: Rachel loved potlucks, and we hope you do too! Please bring a dish to share if you are able. Sign up online so we can ensure we have enough for everyone.

Please note: This event is free, but we do kindly ask for your RSVP in order to ensure enough food and seating. Thank you!
